Just received a mailer for 20% off Virgin America select routes.

It was targeted through my BofA WorldPoints Visa card, aka my first card aka worst card, and came with a Promo Code..

It says I need to book with my WorldPoints Visa card and the promo code.

But you apply the promo code before searching for the flight and I wonder if I can use a different card at checkout?

That would double down on my rewards earning power with a proper miles program.

Anybody else get this promo? As I will not be using this promo, if anybody is interested in having it just leave a comment below.

You need an amazon account to be eligible.

• No limit per customer

If you do not redeem the Gift Card by 6/30/2012 it will only be worth a $50 discount.

The discount must be applied before that date but not completed by it. So make sure you are aware of when you will use it.

I was thinking of using this for a short weekend jaunt this winter.  I think it is a good promo by amazon local/Travelocity. I think it has more to do with amazon’s cut rate attitude in truth.
