The Travel Abstract Academy Manifesto

Many people are confused about what they want.

You are here because something inside of you told you to stop and come here.

You want to start paying attention to what is actually important to you instead of running away from it.

Being aware of what you actually want is the key to understanding where you are going.

For most of our lives we believe that some magic formula of more money, job promotions and fame will bring you clarity.

But none of these things ever does. Understand this exists and be aware of what is your true need.

For many of us here, this means finding awareness in your need to travel.

The Travel Abstract Academy is your home to getting up and running in the world of free flights while making your travel aspirations a reality.

Whether your moments are visiting grandma for the weekend in Virginia or going on that round the world trip you never thought possible.

Both are perfectly valid travel aspirations any Travel Abstract Academy member would have.

It helps to clear that fog from your mind and welcomes a new reality of free travel possibilities and all those surreal memories you will create along the way.

Now, onto the 7 Pillars of the Travel Abstract Academy:

#1: We only care about where you are going.

Never flown out of the USA before? Welcome to the Travel Abstract Academy.

Flown thousands of miles but never collected a single mile or point? Thanks for joining.

I don’t care where you have been or how you got there.

We all have our commitments and we all have had our reasons for not getting into this mile/point game earlier.

You don’t need to explain yourself and your miles point situation.

Now is when I need you to begin to take responsibility for your miles and points future.

This is the time when you can start achieving.

We all know sometimes life deals us a shi—ty hand.

Luckily we all have sick resources at our disposal to keep pushing us towards our dream trips.

We are here to figure out what went wrong, and move forward together to learn from our mistakes.

Never have regrets, or complaints about what could have been.

We are about making moves today and not what could have been in the past.

I know that getting outside of our bubbles to see how much more to this world there is than our Work-School-Gym-Home routine.

Enjoying your life is about those moments why we can always cordon off 20 minutes in your day for free traveling.

Today can be the first day of the rest of your Travel life.

Can you taste it?

#2 You are Here for the Memories.

No more skirting around the issue. Flying for free is not something to run away from.

I am promoting permanent changes to your costly travel habits that can be sustained for the rest of your life.

I promote education through hands-on tutorials that allow you to walk through every step of traveling for free at your own pace.

Through our incremental lessons you will be you on your way to a sustainable resource of free travel knowledge.

This is how you win at this game.

We all like winning right? Good.

Because those nights, which turned into mornings, you spent partying on the Greek Islands will always be with you.

The time you hiked through the desert, and forgot the desert gets freezing overnight, in the Middle East is your real award.

The time you booked a last minute award flight to visit your family back home, just to reconnect, you will be glad for those miles.

You won’t forget any of those memories.

But you need to start doing something to make them a reality.

You start here, at The Travel Abstract Academy, and start building those memoires today.

#3 Don’t Take Anything at Face Value

Airlines, Credit Card Companies and Hotels.

You should not believe EVERYTHING they say.

This entire community we have is just a big ol’market for them to profit off of.

Of course they want you to be blissfully ignorant of all the real value in their reward programs.

They want you to feel that you have mobility when using their programs but unaware just how restricted you actually are.

Take charge of your free travel future and don’t rely on the marketing department to tell you how to use your
miles/points.

#4 We Explore Because It’s Ridiculously Fun

If you being in economy class for 18 hours to Bali is your own personal version of hell, then don’t do it!

If you don’t like the ideas of hiking waterfalls in Iceland, then don’t do it!

But Find what “Someday I Will…” travel aspiration is right for your needs.

Every traveler has their own tastes. Every city is interpreted differently by every visitor that enters her borders.

If you know your destination AWESOME!! If you haven’t, keeping searching and pushing yourself to realize what you love to do until something clicks.

This will be what motivates you to push for your free travel.

The Academy is not just where you start learning but where you continue to refine your skill sets.

We are your support team to keep pushing you until you start checking off your “Someday I Will…” destinations.

#5 Earn with Intelligence and Fundamentals.

When earning miles and points you will have a plan for what you are going to do.

You will also have a goal that we have to accomplish to travel free/cheap.

The Hand over your eyes, blindly groping for a mile here and a point there does not work.

Start earning those miles and points that you value instead of wasting them for things you never use.

Plan what type of traveler you want to be, Carmen Sandiego, Indiana Jones, Clark Griswald or Marty McFly.

Whatever type of travel experience you want, you can make it a reality.

I have no doubt in my mind that if you are willing to dedicate yourself to the Academy 100%, you will accomplish your goals.

We cultivate all of our knowledge through extensive research and testing.

I have provided the Travel Abstract Academy to ensure that you are given quality information that is relevant to your travel needs.

#6 We Take Pride in our Misadventures

You will learn and adapt from missteps.

Believe me you can’t avoid mistakes when you are dealing with the travel world.

Sometimes it feels like the industry is stacked against you, which is not just paranoia, but you will grow from it.

You can’t lose anything by experimenting and being creative with your reward programs.

Of course we do not endorse illegal activity to game the system.

We are talking about using the rules to our benefit.

You need to stay focused on making your travel aspirations a reality.

This does not require you to be mistake free.

It is actually the rejection of the view that you have to have the perfect value or booking every time.

It is about being aware of what it is we really want and taking it all in stride.

#7 Travel Swagger All Over the World

Anybody who says they don’t have the time for traveling for free either has never seen our trip swagger or is lazy.

We all have priorities in life, things we love to do and define us.

If you like to work out then you will love working out on a beach in Bali. There is no reason you can’t keep watching Arsenal, if you love English Premiership.

If you have familial responsibilities, you better put those before traveling for free.

I don’t accept “I can’t” or “I don’t know” when it comes to my everyday life and neither should you.

Why would we when it comes to our free miles and points travel?

So strap on your Travel Swagger and get ready to start doing the Travel Swag Squad Dance whenever people ask you how you can afford to travel like a boss.

What? That’s just how we normally enter a room…no big deal.

Alrighty Then….

That about wraps up my Manifesto introducing you to The Travel Abstract Academy, I hope you are hyped and ready to start exploring.

Those were the best 7 concepts I could come up with but if you have any of your rules or codes to add drop them in the comment box below.

The Travel Abstract Academy is available to help ease the workload of learning how to get started traveling where you want and when you want.

Let’s start working together towards your booking your travel aspirations.
